Chickens
For nearly 4,000 years, chicken has been one of the world's most popular foods,
accepted by nearly every culture. Though most chickens are mass-produced, Young's
Farm takes great pride in their small farm approach to chicken production. Our
birds live in large open pens or houses, and not in cages. These birds are fed
with additive-free feed; this takes more time but produces a healthier bird for
our customers. Young’s Farm processes about 2,000 chickens every week and close
to 95,000 birds for the year. You can buy our poultry fresh from the store meat
case every day - with the freshest birds available on Wednesday afternoon, or
from a variety of AJ’s, Bashas, Albertsons, and smaller meat markets around the
state.
Turkeys
Young's Farm grows about 25,000 birds each year. Young's Farm is the
only producer of fresh turkeys in Arizona. Our turkeys receive a healthy
diet of mixed grains with no growth stimulants. They are free range and
enjoy a normal stress free life span. We never give our birds "basting
injections" because from the beginning to the end, these turkeys are all
natural and the taste is
unbeatable. People come back year after year to order their Thanksgiving
and Christmas turkeys. Want some tips on preparing
a Young's Farm Turkey?
Young's Farm Poultry will no longer be available through AJ's, Bashas, Albertsons or other stores around the state.
